    Sweet! I really enjoyed the first game, and would like to see more. I also have an idea for the game if you're interested in a fan's idea. Maybe you could add some sort of armor upgrade if possible, and maybe like secret achievement's and some other secrets. I think it would really spice up the game. :) I also would like to see that thermal vision, I thought it looked really cool but I guess that's more of a "Predator" thing. The pulse rifle is my favorite weapon and I love how you used the same sound for it to. I would like to volunteer for testing this game If I can, keep us/me posted.

    Zedacus, we're always interested in fans ideas mate ( For some odd reason I had to approve your comment, that's why it wasn't showing up ).
    Armour is one idea we've got for O2, also we've set up the sharedObject ( Cookie ) from Outpost:Haven so if you're playing O2 on the same site we can read that, so I was thinking we could do something cool, like if you've finished the first game in O2 you get gold armour or something.
    Thermal vision may make a come back, it's up to Lux the artist. It was changed for night vision as he wasn't liking the look too much, and I know better than to argue with an artist :)
    We've also got some ideas for new weapons, including finally having a sentry gun you can buy and position yourself. So many ideas, so little time.

    Testing for Outpost:Swarm is closed now I'm afraid, it's with the sponsor going through their testing phase, but yeah we'll def give you a shout about O2, as the many weird bugs in O:H showed you can never have enough testers.

    Charlie, you're so right mate :) It plays nicely actually, it's very SmashTV / Gauntlet. The wingman makes such a large difference.

    To answer for the thermal vision question:

    the reason why I recommended shifting it to night vision was that we really wanted to be scary - the thermal vision is actually a very effective way to hunt live things in the dark, as it shows body heat, independently from the light sources - it would have done the opposite of what we wanted to achieve, by making the Aliens way too visible.

    Instead, we want with the night vision, and even restricted even more the "cone of vision" for the players, so that they heavily had to rely on the radar, or good reflexes, to kill attacking bugs.

    Another important reason is that I hate having too many colors on a same "screen" - I love minimal use of colors, and it usually makes it easy to have an "accent color" to highlight what you want people to really see. In our case, the dominant tone for Outpost is Green, the Night vision is green, and the accent color is that orang-ish red - Thermal vision, with its purples, and yellows, etc etc would have clashed way too much to my tastes....

    However, it's not impossible that it comes back in Outpost 2, once I think the palette problem :)

    Okay well I understand and maybe the thermal vision could be a secret unlocked but a secret achievement or something, like I was talking about before. :)

    Btw I found Outpost: Haven on Armor Games and I haven't been able to submit a high score. Like from when I was playing Swarm. But that's okay I got Commander rank. :D

    Any way, what about multiplayer? is there anyway you could set that up for Outpost:Swarm? I think that might really spice the game up. :)

    Thermal vision could be used as a set piece perhaps, to reveal a huge nest of aliens before the lights come on.

    Not sure what the issue could be on Armor to be honest, it may just be there servers are down. Someone told me that on NG if you have a really long game the server assumes you've stopped playing it ( After a long amount of inactivity ) and won't let you save, don't know if its the same thing.

    Outpost:Swarm is 99% done mate, so no multiplayer in that, just AI co-op ( It is pretty sweet though ). We'd love to do a multiplayer version, but it's not as straight forward, there are lots of things to factor in ( For example we'd need to sell dlc to pay for the servers, but we'd need to do it in a way that's fair and worthwhile ).
    Also we need to do O2 first as we're rebuilding the engine using stage3D, and just as importantly there's a story we want to finish telling.

    Okay I understand. If you happen to make another some time in the future. You should try going for multiplayer if its a possibility at the time. But for now... Can't wait for the new one. :D

    And for the thing with Armor Games, I don't know because I played another game that was multiplayer and everything and it still worked. But I think it might have something to do with my computer maybe.... I have a year 2006 computer and it was just made for normal office use and stuff so yeah.

    I would also like to volunteer for other games you make in the future. But I do have a life off the computer so I can't guarantee I would be able to help when asked, but I will when I can just e-mail me. :)

      I would also like to add another idea. I think the motion sensor should only show things that are moving, like the red eyes for example, I think they should not show on the minimap unless they are moving around. You could make it more horrific in that way.

      Also, I really liked that cutscene at the end were you go to the ship and then its all dark and all you see are the red eyes, and then you wipe them out in a few seconds. That seemed pretty legit to me. :D

      Oh and one more thing with the motion sensor I don't know how far you are willing to go with the Alien vs predator kinda theme but I think the motion sensor should have the same sound as AvP or maybe even the same speed like ever 1.2 seconds or something. But just remember all of these are ideas I don't know how much time you got left but that's all I can think of for now. :)

    Looks great,
    Graphically it reminds me of an old PC game made by Rage Newcastle called Expendable. Lots of bump mapping and graphical loveliness, with great explosions and co-op mode.

    Cheers John. I've never heard of Expendable ( I'm an Amiga boy, so there's a huge black hole in my PC gaming knowledge ). Also weirdly I've never played any of the Dead Space games and that was thrown at us a lot with Outpost:Haven, although it was great the occasional "Alien Breed !" comment.
